This series of mosaics was an exploration into form and process. The slice of agate was my starting piece and from there I allowed my imagination to pick and choose materials which include smalti, stone, beads and slate.

Apatite is believed to aid in emotional healing, helping individuals to overcome sorrow, apathy and anger, fostering a sense of peace and well-being.
