ONLINE – Slim Wall Art Inspired by Africa

If snipping and sticking is your thing and you have a passion for African culture, then you will absolutely LOVE this ONLINE class!

I have combined my love of Africa and my passion for creating mosaics into a fun workshop where you will learn how to create an abstract piece of art using African cloth as inspiration.

By the end of the class you will have created a beautiful piece of mosaic art, developed your mosaic skills and feel more confident about creating your own mosaic designs.

What to expect

In this workshop we will focus on a simple design using a selection of vibrant materials, including authentic African glass beads and mosaic tiles.

You will be shown how to mix your own adhesive, prepare the base and combine your materials using a range of techniques to create interest and texture.

The workshop will be conducted via ZOOM and a recording will be made available.

Who is this for?

Suitable for beginners, however, those with some mosaic experience are also welcome to join to get the opportunity to enhance your skills and experiment more.

What is provided

A mixture of beads, mosaic tiles and slate (please note materials will vary from example shown)
Black tile adhesive
Stick for stirring adhesive
A 2.5in x 9in Wooden base
D-ring and screw
