Mixed Media Mosaic Decor – Blue Sky

This series of mosaics was an exploration into form and process.

I was inspired by a trip to Kerry, Ireland in the Summer and wanted to capture the elements that stood out to me which were the mountains, rivers and general landscape.

I’ve used handcut smalti, stained glass, Venetian gold glass, stone and slate to represent each of the elements.
