IN-PERSON: MAKE A MOSAIC

Always wanted to have a go at mosaic making? This might be the class for you!

What to expect

A brief introduction and demonstration on mosaic making using the Direct Method. Included will be how to use tile nippers, how to create shapes and an explanation of various andamento styles and how to grout. Please note that grouting will not be done in this class however you will receive a grout bag to take home with full instructions (including a video for reference).

Who is this for?

Suitable for beginners, however, those with some mosaic experience are also welcome to join.

What is provided

A good selection of vitreous glass, unglazed ceramic and stained glass + other useful materials
PVA glue
Grout bag
MDF base (approx 25cm x 25 cm or 30cm x 16cm)
